Dr. Sheehy
Dr. Sheehy was born and raised in Michigan. She attended Michigan State University for her undergrad and veterinary school. She worked in small animal veterinary medicine around the Metro-Detroit area until 2005 when she became the owner of Sheehy Animal Hospital. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and performing abdominal ultrasounds. Dr. Sheehy enjoys spending time with her husband and two bulldogs. She also enjoys traveling and bird watching.

Dr. Davis
Born and raised on the west side of Detroit, Dr. Brad Davis graduated from St Mary of Redford High School in 1982, then the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992, getting a couple of bachelor's degrees along the way. He has been working as a dog and cat veterinarian in the area ever since. During that time he has also done a national radio show (Animal Talk) and wrote a column for the Observer-Eccentric newspapers (About Animals). He enjoys planning adventures and traveling with his wife.

Tracy - Practice Manager
Tracy has been with Sheehy Animal Hospital since 2005. She started as a veterinary assistant and has worked just about every position at Sheehy Animal Hosptial. She is now our practice manager. She enjoys spending time with her family and rescue pets. She also enjoys volunteering with a variety of animal welfare organizations.

Alex - Lead Veterinary Technician
Alex has been a team member at Sheehy Animal Hospital since 2012. Alex loves all pets and has a special place in her heart for horses. She enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to finishing school and receiving her degree.

Haley - Lead Kennel Technician/Veterinary Technician
Haley has been a member of the Sheehy Animal Hospital team since 2015. She loves helping pets. German Shepherds and African Wild Dogs are her favorite animals. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts and supporting animal rescues.

Amanda - Office Manager
Amanda has always been an animal lover growing up. From fostering kittens to babysitting reptiles, she has always fell in love with each animal she meets no matter the species. When not working, Amanda enjoys spending her free time at home with her family

Amy D.- Veterinary Technician
Amy has been with Sheehy Animal Hospital since 2021. She loves spending time with her amazing husband, son, and rescued cats and dogs. She spends her free time volunteering at a local animal rescue. She enjoys traveling, the salty air of the ocean, and crocheting.

Ash - Receptionist
Ash lives with a variety of pets including a rescue kitty named Rusty and sweet Flo, a kitty rescued from Puerto Rico. He also fosters wild animals for a wildlife rehabilitation clinic that he volunteers at on his days off. He has plans on returning to school for zoology and conservation and then to go into veterinary sciences.

Caitie - Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician
Caitie is very passionate about animals and is studying to become a veterinarian. She has been a wonderful addition to the Sheehy team.

Debbie - Receptionist
Debbie has been with Sheehy Animal Hospital since 2008. She enjoys cross-stitching and spending time with her children. She shares her home with her dogs and cat and 2 bearded dragons.

Denise - Receptionist
While Denise Toney is new to Sheehy Animal Hospital, she has a long career working as a veterinary receptionist, having started in 1986 in Detroit, then spending 25 years in Garden City.Born in Elyria, Ohio, Denise grew up in Columbus until moving to the Detroit area with her husband, Sam. She also has a son, Donald, and now lives in Redford.Denise enjoys participating in the Slow Roll, a weekly summertime social bicycle ride around the city, and spending time with friends and family. She also really likes things that light up or sparkle, which, as anyone who knows her can tell you, matches her personality perfectly!

Maison - Veterinary Technician
Maison is a graduate of Kalamazoo College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology. Though born and raised in Michigan, she has lived in Canada, Thailand, and Alabama where she studied Columbian ground squirrels, elephant conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation. Her passions lie at the intersection of veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation. Her goal is to become a veterinarian who practices wildlife medicine and travels the world in doing so. In the meantime, she works as a veterinary technician at Sheehy Animal Hospital where she is constantly learning new things and growing as a veterinary professional. She can't wait to fall in love with all your scaly friends and furbabies!

Melissa - Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician
Melissa has always wanted to work with animals since she was young. When she is not at work she spends time with her husband, 3 daughters and 4 dogs!

Jessica - Kennel Technician
Jessica has been an animal lover since birth! She is especially fond of dogs. There is a special connection between her and animals. Working at Sheehy Animal Hospital is a perfect fit for Jes. Jessica started her own dog walking/pet sitting business about 8 years ago and now has several repeat clients. For the last 10 years she has been volunteering regularly at the Huron Valley Humane Society. She is well know there as their 'Dog Comforter'.

Natalie is an aspiring veterinary student. On her days off, she enjoy taking horse riding lessons in English dressage. She also enjoy playing video games, biking, and photography.
